Lloyd Richard Hanger

Lloyd Richard Hanger of Desloge, Missouri was born on Friday, January 12, 1940 in Richwoods, Missouri a son of the late, Pearl (Hasendflug) Hanger and Lloyd Hanger. Lloyd departed this life on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 having reached the age of seventy years, six months and one day.

Lloyd or Richard as he was known by many of his friends and family is survived by his wife of thirty-six years, Shirley (Hulsey) Hanger of Desloge, Missouri; three sons, Tracy Lynn Hanger of Old Mines, Missouri, Ritchie Wayne Hanger of Blackwell, Missouri, Barry Allan Hanger and wife, Casie of Desloge, Missouri; one stepson, Joe Marks of Tampa, Florida; two stepdaughters, Kathleen Peacock and husband, Frank of Bridgeton, Missouri, Sherrie Johnson of St. Ann, Missouri; two sisters, Roberta Johnson of Dittmer, Missouri, Vicky Reaves of St. Louis, Missouri; one brother, Robert Hanger of St. Louis, Missouri; six grandchildren, Tanner, Katrice, Tonya, Josh, Annika, Brailey; five great-grandchildren, Steven, Stefan, Sierra, Kayla and Desmond.

Richard loved spending time with his family and friends, barbequing and playing guitar for everyone. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping and visiting with everyone and was an avid NASCAR fan. He will long be remembered for his love and talent of barbequing.

Visitation was held Thursday, July 15, 2010 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Friday, July 16, 2010 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.

A Funeral Service was held Friday, July 16, 2010 at 10:00 AM at the Moore Memorial Chapel with Reverend J.C. Moore officiating. Serving as pallbearers were: Tracy Hanger, Barry Hanger, Ritchie Hanger, Tanner Hanger, Stan Hulsey, Steven Seals, Stefan Seals and Jeremy Hulsey.

Final Prayers and Burial took place in the Redbud Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Potosi, Missouri.

Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
