Effie E. Hanson of Viburnum, Missouri was born Thursday, October 3, 1918 in Bourbon, Missouri a daughter of the late Florance (Roach) Essman and Charles Essman. Effie departed this life Sunday, January 25, 2004 at the Phelps County Regional Medical Center, Rolla, Missouri at the age of Eighty-five Years, Three Months and Twenty-two Days.
Effie is survived by her daughter, Dorothy Bain of California; Dear and Special friend and Caretaker Marilyn Eye of Viburnum, Missouri and by many special friends at the Stonecrest Nursing Center, Viburnum, Missouri and by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held Tuesday, January 27, 2004 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Wednesday, January 28, 2004 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
Funeral Services were held Wednesday, January 28, 2004 at 10:00 AM at the Moore Memorial Chapel with Reverend Paul Davis officiating.
Burial was in the Mount Hope Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri at 1:30 PM Wednesday, January 28, 2004.
Services were entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark St., Potosi, MO.
