Harry Donnel Sloan

   Harry Donnel Sloan, born on July 10, 1957, in St. Louis, Missouri, peacefully passed away on January 28, 2025. He was a loving and devoted individual who inspired those around him with his hard work and dedication. Harry treasured spending time with his friends and family, finding joy in the everyday moments they shared.

   Harry is survived by his life partner, Judy Martin; his daughter, Anna Sloan of Saint Clair, MO; and son, Matthew Lester of De Soto, MO. He was a proud father and grandfather, relishing the opportunity to guide and support his children and grandchildren throughout their lives. Harry is also survived by his two sisters, Marlyn Sanders and Arlie of Piedmont, MO, and Debra Maness of De Soto, MO. His three brothers, Jesse Vest and Sherry of De Soto, MO, Randall Vest and Donna of De Soto, MO, and James Martin and Cindy of De Soto, MO, will miss him deeply. In addition to his children and siblings, Harry delighted in the company of his eight grandchildren. He also leaves behind nephew, Josh Smith, and his wife Samantha, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will cherish his memory.

   Harry was preceded in death by his parents, Mardie (O'Harver) and Harry Sloan; his son, Joseph Monteith; and his sister, Glenda O'Harver. He is fondly remembered for his unwavering commitment to his family and for the many cherished memories created in their presence.

   Harry's memory will be greatly treasured and he will be deeply missed by those who loved him.
