Shelia Marie Hayes (DeClue)

Shelia Marie (DeClue) Hayes of Richwoods, Missouri was born March 23, 1957 in Bonne Terre, Missouri a daughter to the late John Lawrence DeClue and Mary Agnes (Merseal) DeClue. Shelia departed this life Thursday, November 11, 2021 having reached the age of 64 years, 7 months and 19 days.
On May 20, 1978 Shelia was united in marriage to Keith Hayes and together they shared 43 years, and many wonderful memories.
Shelia is survived by her loving husband, Keith; sons, John Hayes of Sullivan, Missouri, Adam Hayes of Richwoods, Missouri, Jake Hayes of Richwoods, Missouri; daughters, Amanda Hayes of Richwoods, Missouri, Erin Hayes of Richwoods, Missouri, Olivia Clubb and husband James of Williamsville, Missouri, Victoria Hayes of Richwoods, Missouri; brother, Morgan DeClue of Cadet, Missouri; 26 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends.
In addition to her parents, Shelia was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry DeClue and nephew, Andrew DeClue.
Shelia loved the Lord with all her heart. Every Sunday she played the Organ for mass at St. Stephen Catholic Church and helped with many church activities. She loved working around her home and spending time with her family and friends. She was her grandchildren’s number one fan and she cheered them on in all that they did. She was a loving wife, daughter, sister, grandmother. She lived life to its fullest and always leaned on her faith in Christ to get her thorough trying times. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her and her memory will be cherished.
