Marcella Ann Hill of Farmington, Missouri was born on Friday, September 13, 1935 in Old Mines, Missouri a daughter of the late, Josephine (Boyer) Kay and Johnny Kay. Marcella departed this life on Sunday, December 5, 2010 at the Missouri Baptist Medical Center, St. Louis, Missouri having reached the age of seventy-five years, two months and twenty-two days.

Marcella is survived by her husband, Blaine Hill of Farmington, Missouri; one daughter, Patricia Knickerbocker of Houston, Texas; two sons, Mike Barnum of Overland, Missouri, Tim Barnum of Goose Creek, Missouri; one sister, Mary Frances Akins of Park Hills, Missouri; two brothers, Lawrence Kay of Potosi, Missouri, Roy Kay of Potosi, Missouri; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; also surviving are other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Marcella was preceded in death by one sister, Louise Kay, three brothers, James Kay, George “Joe” Kay and Paul “Teeter” Kay.

Marcella enjoyed traveling especially places where she could enjoy the beach and going out to eat at her favorite restaurants. She was an avid sports fan, especially of the St. Louis Cardinals. Marcella loved her dog “Max” and other dogs that belonged to her friends. She enjoyed visiting with family and friends, who will all greatly miss her.

A Memorial Visitation was held Friday, December 10, 2010 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.

A Memorial Service was held Friday, December 10, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Reverend Joe Welschmeyer officiating.

Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
