Steven was the son of Donna (Portell) Voelker and Steven Hill, Sr. Steven departed this life Saturday, January 10, 2004 in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of Twenty-six Years, Two Months and Twelve Days.
Steven became a father to son Joshua Ryan Bailey Hill on August 13, 1996 which he loved dearly.
Steven is survived by a large loving family, Mother Donna Voelker of Mineral Point, Missouri; Father Steven Hill, Sr. of Fenton, Missouri; Step Father Jamey Voelker of Redondo Beach, California; Maternal Grandparents, Bob and Alice Portell of Cadet, Missouri; Paternal Grandparents, Epps “E.J.” and Annabelle Hill of Cedar Hill, Missouri; Maternal Step Grandparents, Ed and Billie Voelker of Mission Viezo, California; Maternal Step Grandmother Doris Turner of Richmond, Virginia; Two Sisters, Tiffany Hill of Arnold, Missouri and Rebecca Hill of Fenton, Missouri; four Brothers, Jacob Voelker of Arnold, Missouri, Jacob Epps Hill of Fenton, Missouri, Matthew Hill of Fenton, Missouri and Mychael Hill of Fenton, Missouri; Fiancé Michelle Jones of St. Louis, Missouri; Special Friend Ray Beck of Mineral Point, Missouri; Seven Uncles, Five Aunts and by many other relatives and dear friends. Steven was preceded in death by one infant Sister, Jacklyn Kay.
Steven was an energetic fun loving person who loved to make people laugh and be the life of the party. Steven also liked playing on the internet, listening to the music of the 50 cent. Steven liked playing cards and he always wanted to play his mom in back gammon and would love it if he won. Steven liked handball, basketball and a big fan of the St. Louis Rams Football team. Steven loved his tattoos and Tommy Cologne. He always had to look good!
Steven loved a special lady who was always by his side. He had a special twinkle in his eye for his love Michele. They had became engaged in August 2003. Steven was so very happy just being with her.
Steven had many friends, his two childhood buddies, Shane Hayes and Buddy Williams and his good friends Dustin Wall and Anthony Shipp. He always enjoyed just hanging out with them.
Visitation was held Wednesday, January 14, 2004 from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM and Thursday, January 15, 2004 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the Moore Funeral Homes, Potosi, Missouri.
Funeral Services were held Thursday, January 15, 2004 at 10:00 AM at the Moore Memorial Chapel with Reverend John Welsh officiating.
Burial was in the Redbud Memorial Gardens, Potosi, Missouri. Serving as Pallbearers were Anthony Shipp, Dustin Wall, Shane Hayes, Buddy Williams, Jacob Epps-Hill and Matthew Hill.
Services were under the direction and care of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
