Gladys loved working outside in the garden and yard. She loved the times the churches visited the nursing home to sing gospel songs. She had a great love for her family and friends and always had a smile on her face to brighten the room. She was a good wife and mother, she would give of herself and will be remembered as a very caring and kind lady. She always had to know what was happening, almost to the point of being called nosey. She always made people wait for her to get ready even in passing from this world, but we all loved her and will miss her dearly. Potosi Manor became her home for five years even though she would tell you ten years, and the residents and workers were her second family. She made lots of friends there, especially Brenda Sherman, who was as we called her, Gladys’ third daughter. Gladys looked forward to going to McDonald’s for a fish sandwich and fries then going to the little park to eat. She loved many activities and in the last five years she especially loved to play bingo at Potosi Manor.
