Leo Walter Hollinsworth

Leo Walter Hollinsworth of Potosi was born March 5, 1938 in Shirley, Missouri a son to the late Laymon Jasper Hollinsworth and Allie Francis (Matchell) Hollinsworth. Leo departed this life Wednesday, August 4, 2021 having reached the age of 83 years, 4 months and 30 days.
On February 9, 1955, Leo was united in marriage to the late Shirley (Morgan) Hollinsworth and shared many wonderful years together.
Leo is survived by his daughters, Vickie Saunders and husband John of Potosi, Robin Hollinsworth of Potosi, Belinda Richards and husband J.D. of Potosi; sons, Rick Hollinsworth and wife Cindy of Potosi, Tony Hollinsworth and wife Sondra of Potosi; sister, Faye Jarvis and husband Leroy of Mineral Point; brothers, Johnny Hollinsworth and wife Wanda of Xenia, Illinois, Bob Hollinsworth and wife Jeannie of Potosi; nineteen grandchildren, thirty-five great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear and special friends.
In addition to his parents and loving wife, Leo was preceded in death by a great granddaughter, Willow Kley; sisters, Violet Prater, Juanita Smith, Betty Hollinsworth; brothers, Jesse Callahan, James Callahan and Paul Hollinsworth.
Leo was a hard worker and took pride in working around his home, maintaining his lawn and working on his old truck, that he meticulously maintained. He loved the outdoors and going hunting and fishing with his family and friends. He loved his family and spoiling his grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by those who loved him.
