Beulah Vada Huff, of St. Charles, Missouri was born May 10, 1929 in Potosi, Missouri a daughter of the late, Harriett (Miller) Gamble and Lawrence Monroe Gamble. Beulah departed this life on June 6, 2008 in St. Charles, Missouri having reached the age of seventy-nine years and twenty-seven days.

Beulah was united in marriage to Jud J. “Pete” Huff and were blessed with two daughters, Sandra and Connie.

Beulah is survived by her daughters, Sandra Huff of St. Peters, Missouri, Connie Shell and husband, Tony of St. Charles, Missouri; two brothers, David Gamble and wife, Brenda of Shiloh, Arizona, Reverend Kenny Gamble and wife, Faye of Mineral Point, Missouri; five, sisters, Maxine Jarvis of DeSoto, Missouri, Faye Allen and husband, Jim of Mineral Point, Missouri, Pat Wilson of DeSoto, Missouri, Barbara Kean and husband, Roy of Mineral Point, Missouri, Emma “Cookie” Gillam and husband, Earl of DeSoto, Missouri; five grandchildren, Leticia Wilkerson, Joseph Grimm, Julie Lewis, Tia Shell, James Shell all of St. Charles, Missouri; four great grandchildren, Nicholas Wilkerson, Travis Wilkerson, Danielle Lewis, Maddox Grimm all of St. Charles, Missouri; also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Beulah was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jud J. “Pete” Huff, six brothers and three sisters.

Beulah loved family reunions and spending time with all of her family and friends. She enjoyed participating in her family’s Annual Sister’s Day. Beulah was well known through her entire life as being one of the best when it came to playing Jacks, and was always ready to demonstrate that she still had the expertise to play during her later years. Thoughts of her radiant smile and loving ways will continue to be remembered by her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who were blessed with her special love and friendship.

Visitation was held Sunday, June 8, 2008 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.

A Funeral Service was held Sunday, June 8, 2008 at 1:00 PM at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Reverend Kenneth Gamble officiating and assisted by Faye Gamble. Songs played during the service were; “Take My Hand Precious Lord”, “How Great Thou Art” and “You’ll Never Walk Alone”.

Final Prayers and Burial took place in the New Masonic Cemetery, Potosi, Missouri.

Honoring Beulah by serving as pallbearers were: Nicholas Wilkerson, Travis Wilkerson, Jeff Jarvis, Greg Booth, Joseph Grimm, Steve Jarvis and Rick Wessinger.

Service were Entrusted to the care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
