BURL ELMER HUFF
BURL ELMER HUFF OF PARK HILLS, MISSOURI WAS BORN SUNDAY, JANUARY 2, 1938 IN FLAT RIVER, MISSOURI A SON OF THE LATE WILLIAM AND BESSIE (STROUP) HUFF. BURL PASSED FROM THIS LIFE ON MONDAY, JULY 23, 2001 AT HIS HOME AT THE AGE OF SIXTY-THREE YEARS, SIX MONTHS AND TWENTY-ONE DAYS.
BURL IS SURVIVED BY HIS LOVING AND DEDICATED SON CURTISS HUFF OF PARK HILLS; ONE GRAND SON, CURTISS SELLERS; ONE BROTHER, RAYMOND HUFF AND WIFE JAY OF VIRGINIA; ONE SISTER, SANDRA HUNT OF ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI AND BY MANY OTHER RELATIVES AND FRIENDS.
BURL WAS A LONGTIME MEMBER OF LOCAL #718, DESOTO, MISSOURI. HE LOVED THE MANY GIFTS OF MOTHER NATURE AND ENJOYED SPENDING TIME HUNTING AND FISHING.
BURL CHERISHED THE TIME SPENT WITH HIS GRANDSON AND ALWAYS LOOKED FORWARD TO THE TIME THEY COULD SHARE.
VISITATION WAS HELD WEDNESDAY, JULY 25, 2001, FROM 5:00 P.M. TO 9:00 P.M. AT MOORE FUNERAL HOME IN IRONDALE.
FUNERAL SERVICES WERE CONDUCTED THURSDAY, JULY 26, 2001, AT 1:00 P.M. AT THE IRONDALE CHAPEL WITH REVEREND DAVE WELKER OFFICIATING. BURIAL WAS IN BISMARCK MASONIC CEMETERY, UNDER THE DIRECTION OF MOORE FUNERAL HOME, IRONDALE.
SERVING AS PALLBEARERS WERE, JOE BARTON, IVAN FULKNER, BOBBY BARTON, DEAN DAVIS AND J.B. STEVENS.
