Kirk Huff of Potosi, Missouri was born on Saturday, June 22, 1957 in Ironton, Missouri a son of the late Herbert “Herb” Lee Huff and Janice LaNore (Egbert) Huff. Kirk departed this life on Friday, December 8, 2006 having reached the age of forty-nine years, five months and sixteen days.
Kirk was united in marriage to Sissy Parsons on December 24, 1988 in Potosi, Missouri.
Kirk is survived by his loving wife, Sissy Huff of Potosi, Missouri; two step daughters, Donna Benson and husband Pete of Potosi, Missouri, Sherry Cresswell of Potosi, Missouri; one step son, Michael Dodson of Potosi, Missouri; two sisters, Debbie French of Potosi, Missouri, Missy Mercer and husband Allen of Potosi, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Tashea, Sandra, Chelcie, Erica, Mercedes, Lindsey and Joseph. Kirk was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Herbert Huff, Jr. and Tony Huff.
Kirk was a butcher by trade and was taught the trade by his father. He worked with his brother and father in the meat business for many years. Kirk enjoyed watching golf, baseball and the History Channel. He also enjoyed reading and playing cards. Mostly he loved his grandchildren and spending time with them. Kirk will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Memorial Reception was held Monday, December 11, 2006 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
A Memorial Service was held Monday, December 11, 2006 at 7:00 PM at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Elder Leonard Compton officiating.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
