Paul David Huskey
Paul Huskey of St. Louis, Missouri was born on Tuesday, October 3, 1939 in Old Mines, Missouri a son of the late, Cynthia (Boyer) Huskey and John Huskey. Paul departed this life on Saturday, May 23, 2009 at his residence having reached the age of sixty-nine years, seven months and twenty days.
Paul was united in marriage to Betty J. Bouse on February 10, 1962 in Potosi, Missouri and shared forty-seven years together.
Paul is survived by his loving wife, Betty Huskey of St. Louis, Missouri; two daughters, Beverly Ann Davis of Florissant, Missouri, Patricia Lynn Klimkiewicz and husband, Eddie of St. Peters, Missouri; one sister, Jane Daugherty and husband, Ronnie of Washington, Missouri; two brothers, John “Bud” Huskey and wife, Valorie of LeMay, Missouri, George Huskey and wife, Vivian of St. Louis, Missouri; four grandchildren, Sean, Shannon, Ryan and Alyssa. In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by three sisters, Mary Ann Crippen, Rachel Teresa Conway, Winifred Belt, one brother, Francis Huskey and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Pearl and Arthur Bouse.
Paul enjoyed spending time building model cars, hunting, fishing and tinkering with small engines. He loved his cabin and land in Old Mines. He worked thirty-six years for McDonnell Douglas, retiring in 1996. Paul lost a courageous fight battling cancer for four years.
Visitation was held Wednesday, May 27, 2009 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
A Funeral Service was held Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at 12:00 PM at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Father Ted Pieper officiating. Serving as pallbearers were: Eddie Klimkiewicz, Ryan Klimkiewicz, Sean Davis, Paul Conway, Eddie Belt and Randy Hosea.
Final Prayers and Burial took place in the St. Joachim Catholic Cemetery, Old Mines, Missouri.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
