Janet Sue Jackson
Janet Sue Jackson of Farmington, Missouri was born on Saturday, August 17, 1946 in Hopewell, Missouri a daughter of the late, Melvina (Courtois) Mackley and Ira Herman Mackley. Sue departed this life on Sunday, May 23, 2010 at the Parkland Health Center, Farmington, Missouri.
Sue was united in marriage to Lindell Earl “Stoney” Jackson on October 3, 1963 in Farmington, Missouri.
Sue is survived by five daughters, Rebecca Sue Wann and husband, Darryl of Leadwood, Missouri, Tammy Lynne Jackson of Farmington, Missouri, Barbara Marie Cunningham and husband, James of Farmington, Missouri, Rosemary Ann Jackson of Park Hills, Missouri, Linda Gail Jackson of Farmington, Missouri; one son Lindell Anthony “Tony” Jackson of Farmington, Missouri; one sister, Eva Marie Huskey and husband, Erlyn of Ellington, Missouri; one brother, Leroy Mackley and wife, Jackie of Potosi, Missouri, eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren, also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Lindell “Stoney” Jackson and one infant sister, Lula Bell Mackley.
Sue loved spending time at home with her family cooking them meals and going on family outings. She enjoyed playing games on her computer, especially the tag website. Sue also enjoyed shopping for jewelry and clothes and watching Cardinals baseball. She listened to all types of music and always enjoyed a nice cold Dr. Pepper soda. Sue was a very kindhearted and loving woman who would give any of her earthly possessions to anyone in need and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Visitation was held Friday, May 28, 2010 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
A Funeral Service was held Friday, May 28, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Reverend Kenneth Blackwell officiating. Honoring Sue by serving as pallbearers were: Larry Benham, Michael Benham, Chris Jackson, Steven Jackson, Marcus Zereshki and Curtis W. Boxx.
Final Prayers and Burial took place in the Sunset Hill Cemetery, Potosi, Missouri.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
