Linda Jackson of Potosi, Missouri was born on Wednesday, April 22, 1942 in Jackson, Missouri a daughter of the late, Bessie M. (Allinson) Sasenger and Oliver C. Sasenger. Linda departed this life on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at the Potosi Manor Nursing Home, Potosi, Missouri having reached the age of sixty-eight years, six months and twelve days.
Linda was united in marriage to Carl Jackson on June 26, 1986 in St. Louis, Missouri.
Linda is survived by one sister, Joy Frazer and husband, Allen of Irondale, Missouri; one niece, Katherine Vance and husband, Joshua of Potosi, Missouri; three great nieces, Katlyn, Kimberly and Kloe Vance all of Potosi, Missouri; dear and special friend, Sharon Hampton of Irondale, Missouri. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Jackson who passed away October 9, 2008.
Linda was an avid Cardinals baseball fan and loved to watch them play. She enjoyed crocheting, embroidering, cooking and doing jigsaw puzzles. Linda also loved her dog Ginger and visiting with friends.
Visitation was held Sunday, November 7, 2010 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
A Funeral Service was held Sunday, November 7, 2010 at 1:00 PM with Reverend Jerry Compton officiating. Serving as pallbearers were: Joshua Vance, Randall Hampton, Zachery Hampton, Paul Massey, Micky Goodson and Allen Wood.
Final Prayers and Burial took place in the Sunset Hill Cemetery, Potosi, Missouri.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
