LINDELL JACKSON
LINDELL EARL JACKSON OF LEADWOOD, MISSOURI WAS BORN AT CADET, MISSOURI ON JANUARY 13, 1942. HE WAS THE SON OF THE LATE DAVID DANIEL AND LONA MAE(MESEY) JACKSON. LINDELL DEPARTED THIS LIFE AT THE MINERAL AREA REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER ON FEBRUARY 8, 2003 HAVING REACHED THE AGE OF SIXTY-ONE YEARS AND TWENTY-SIX DAYS.
LINDELL WAS UNITED IN MARRIAGE TO JANET SUE MACKLEY ON OCTOBER 3, 1963 IN FARMINGTON, MISSOURI AND TO THIS UNION SIX CHILDREN WERE BORN.
HE IS SURVIVED BY HIS WIFE, JANET SUE JACKSON OF LEADWOOD, DAUGHTERS, REBECCA SUE ABNEY OF LEADWOOD, TAMMY LYNNE JACKSON OF LEADWOOD, BARBARA MARIE JACKSON AND JIM CUNNINGHAM OF LEADWOOD, ROSEMARY ANN JACKSON OF LEADWOOD AND LINDA GAIL JACKSON OF LEADWOOD, SON, LINDELL ANTHONY "TONY" JACKSON OF LEADWOOD, SISTERS, BARBARA KEEFE OF DESOTO AND ESTHER HENSON AND HUSBAND LARRY OF PARK HILLS, BROTHERS, MARVIN JACKSON AND WIFE EVA OF POTOSI AND DAVID JACKSON AND WIFE MARSHA OF DESOTO, GRANDCHILDREN, FARZANEH , MEAGAN AND MARCUS ZERESHKI, LARRY AND MIKE BENHAM, STEVEN AND CHRISTOPHER JACKSON AND HALI CUNNINGHAM, GREAT GRANDCHILD, JARED ANTHONY ECKHOFF, JR. AND SEVERAL NIECES, NEPHEWS, OTHER RELATIVES AND FRIENDS. IN ADDITION TO HIS PARENTS HE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY BROTHERS, INFANT ROBERT VINCENT JACKSON, ANDREW JACKSON AND LEHMAN JACKSON.
STONEY, AS LINDELL WAS KNOWN BY FAMILY AND FRIENDS WAS A MEMBER OF THE LEADINGTON FREEWILL BAPTIST CHURCH AND PAST MEMBER OF THE UNITED STEELWORKERS UNION. HE WAS A DEALER OF GUNS, WHICH WAS HIS FAVORITE HOBBY. HE ENJOYED PLAYING GUITAR AND SINGING GOSPEL SONGS. LINDELL LOVED WATCHING WESTERN MOVIES, ESPECIALLY THOSE STARRING JOHN WAYNE AND ENJOYED LISTENING TO HANK WILLIAMS SONGS. HIS FAMILY CONSIDERED HIM THE BEST HUSBAND, FATHER AND GRANDFATHER. LINDELL WILL BE LOVINGLY REMEMBERED BY FAMILY AND FRIENDS.
VISITATION WAS HELD 5:00 PM TO 9:00 PM ON MONDAY, FEBRUARY 10, 2003 AND 8:30 AM TO 10:00 AM ON TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 11, 2003 AT THE MOORE FUNERAL HOME, POTOSI.
A FUNERAL SERVICE WAS CONDUCTED AT 10:00 AM AT THE MOORE MEMORIAL CHAPEL WITH PASTOR CRAIG BODENSCHATZ OFFICIATING. BURIAL WAS IN THE SUNSET HILL CEMETERY UNDER THE DIRECTION OF MOORE FUNERAL HOME, POTOSI.
SERVING AS PALLBEARERS WERE, JIM CRANE, JARED ECKHOFF, MIKE BENHAM, LARRY BENHAM, JIM CUNNINGHAM AND BOBBY McMAHAN.
