Margaret Janusweski of Tiff, Missouri was born on Wednesday, June 16, 1926 to the late, Edna (Brook) Duke and Ernest Duke. Margaret departed this life on Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at the Jefferson Regional Medical Center, Crystal City, Missouri having reached the age of eighty-three years, three months and twenty-one days.
Margaret was united in marriage to Joseph Anthony Janusweski on June 27, 1974 in St. Louis, Missouri.
Margaret is survived by her husband, Joseph Janusweski of Tiff, Missouri; four daughters, Rickey Huffman and husband, Danny of Sorento, Illinois, Sharon Govero and husband, Donald of Tiff, Missouri, Cindy Howard and husband, Scott of Blackwell, Missouri, Connie Sansoucie and fiancé, Dave of Cadet, Missouri; four sons, Rod Mercille of Highland, Illinois, Randy Mercille and wife, Brenda of Tiff, Missouri, Carry Mercille of Tiff, Missouri, Joseph Janusweski of Tiff, Missouri; one stepson, David Janusweski of Ava, Missouri; twenty-four grandchildren and thirty-eight great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, one sister, Juanita Jones, one brother, Thurman Duke and three grandchildren, Stephen, Payton and Cory, preceded Margaret in death.
Margaret attended the Jesus Is The Answer Church in Cadet, Missouri. She enjoyed painting and drawing Christian pictures, pictures of Jesus and of wildlife. She loved to spend time with her family and friends. Cooking, sewing and flower gardening were her favorite pastimes. She enjoyed spending time in the outdoors and going camping. Margaret will be forever remembered for the loved and kindness she shared.
Visitation was held Saturday, October 10, 2009 from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
A Funeral Service was held Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 1:00 PM at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Troy Huffman officiating.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
