John Minks

   John Minks of Potosi, Missouri, passed away on January 3, 2024, at the age of 75. He was born on November 23, 1948, in Bonne Terre, Missouri a son to the late John Minks, Sr. and Hughetta (McClendon) Minks. 

   John Minks, known for his warm and loving personality, had a genuine passion for collecting baseball cards, watching baseball and hockey games, as well as collecting coins. But above all, he found true joy in watching his children play sports. One of John's proudest accomplishments was being a father and grandfather. He adored his family and dedicated himself to their happiness and wellbeing throughout his life.

   In this time of mourning, John's family finds solace in knowing that he is now reunited with his late grandson, Deion Hernandez. They are also reminded of the profound impact he had on their lives as a beloved husband and father.

   John is survived by his devoted wife Rhonda Minks. He will be deeply missed by their daughter Roxanna Wilson and husband Larry, two sons John Tracy Minks and Ty Minks, as well as his sister Roxanne Viviano.

   Additionally, John cherished his role as a grandfather to Austin, Lexie, Khloe, Klara, and Jaxon. Their presence in his life brought immense joy and fulfillment.

   As we say goodbye let us remember him for the love he shared with his family and friends. His memory will forever remain in our hearts as we celebrate the legacy of a kind-hearted man who lived for his loved ones.
