Richard John “Dickey” Johnson

Richard “Dickey” Johnson of Tiff, Missouri was born on January 21, 1952 in Tiff, Missouri a son of the late, Martha Beulah (Cain) Johnson and Joseph Nary Johnson. Richard departed this life on July 6, 2008 at the Barnes Jewish Medical Center, St. Louis, Missouri having reached the age of fifty-six years, five months and fifteen days.

Richard was united in marriage to Lisa Greenlee on September 10, 2001 in Tiff, Missouri.

Richard is survived by his wife, Lisa Johnson of Tiff, Missouri; one daughter, Lisa Sansoucie of Bonne Terre, Missouri; three grandchildren, three sisters, Jeanette Hamlin of House Springs, Missouri, Martha Schaefferkoetter and husband, Benny of High Ridge, Missouri, Mary Wicker and husband, Larry of Cadet, Missouri; five brothers, Daniel Johnson of DeSoto, Missouri, Randall Johnson and wife, Joyce of Tiff, Missouri, Lindell Johnson of Tiff, Missouri, Donald Johnson of Robertsville, Missouri, James Johnson of Tiff, Missouri; also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by one sister, Virginia Ann Johnson, six brothers, Michael Johnson, Mitchell Johnson, Samuel “Bo” Johnson, Joseph Johnson, Roger Johnson and Wayne Johnson.

“Dickey” loved to work in his yard cutting grass and keeping everything nice. He enjoyed watching wrestling on television and spending time with his family and many friends. “Dickey” will be very deeply missed by all he knew.

Visitation was held Wednesday, July 9, 2008 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the House of Prayer, Tiff, Missouri.

A Funeral Service was held Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the House of Prayer, Tiff, Missouri with Reverend Martha Schaefferkoetter officiating.

Final Prayers and Burial took place in the House of Prayer Cemetery, Tiff, Missouri.

Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
