Cary Johnston
Cary Johnston of Park Hills, Missouri was born on June 14, 1989 in Farmington, Missouri and departed this life on December 21, 2008 having reached the age of nineteen years, six months and seven days.
Cary is survived by his mother and father, Sandy K. (Philips) Johnston and Russell D. Johnston of Park Hills, Missouri; two sisters, Kelly A. Johnston of Park Hills, Missouri, Rebecca D. Johnston of Overland, Missouri; maternal grandfather, Ed Philips of Richwoods, Missouri; paternal grandmother, Charlene Johnston of Desloge, Missouri; niece, Marisa Callahan; also surviving are cousins, aunts, uncles, other relatives, many friends and his favorite dog, Lucky. Cary was preceded in death by maternal grandmother, Nigel Philips and paternal grandfather, Russell Johnston.
Cary loved to spend time with his family and many friends. He enjoyed racing dirt bikes and four wheelers and watching racing and sports on television. Cary also enjoyed working on vehicles with his Dad and taking care of their lawn care business. Playing baseball was one of Cary’s favorite pastimes as he was an avid sports fan. Cary loved life and was always happy with a big smile on his face. He will forever be loved and cherished by his family and many friends.
Visitation was held Tuesday, December 23, 2008 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Wednesday, December 24, 2008 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday, December 24, 2008 at 10:00 AM at the St. Stephen Catholic Church, Richwoods, Missouri with Father Robert Liss officiating.
Final prayers and burial took place in the St. Stephen Catholic Cemetery, Richwoods, Missouri.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
