Fred Jones, Jr. of Potosi, Missouri was born on May 25, 1934 in Potosi, Missouri a son of the late, Edna Esther (Cantrell) Jones and Fred Elmer Jones. Junior departed this life on July 26, 2012 having reached the age of seventy-eight years, two months and one day.
Junior is survived by one daughter, Esther Hensley and husband, Bob of Potosi, Missouri; two sons, Fred Jones of Charleston, Missouri, Kevin Jones and wife, Bobbie Jo of Potosi, Missouri; his wife of forty-one years, Myra Moore Jones of Potosi, Missouri; special nephew, Keith Jones of Bonne Terre, Missouri; several grandchildren; also surviving are other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Junior was preceded by two sisters; Earmel Berry, Lesteen Messex, one half-sister; Geneva Jones, two brothers; Lester Jones and Preston Jones.
Junior loved spending time enjoying the many wonders of Mother Nature, going camping and fishing. He enjoyed spending time reading. Junior will be forever remembered by his loved ones.
A Memorial Reception was held Saturday, July 28, 2012 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Homes, Potosi, Missouri.
Memorial Service was held Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 4:00 PM at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
Junior is survived by one daughter, Esther Hensley and husband, Bob of Potosi, Missouri; two sons, Fred Jones of Charleston, Missouri, Kevin Jones and wife, Bobbie Jo of Potosi, Missouri; his wife of forty-one years, Myra Moore Jones of Potosi, Missouri; special nephew, Keith Jones of Bonne Terre, Missouri; several grandchildren; also surviving are other relatives and friends.
