Judy Blanford a giving, kind, loving, and caring individual was born January 30, 1944, a daughter to the late Hazel (Missey) McEwen and Stephen H. Vincent. Judy was called to her heavenly home on December 15, 2023. She was a loyal friend to all whose impact will forever be remembered.
Judy had a vibrant personality that radiated love and compassion. Her selflessness touched the hearts of everyone she encountered. She herself to being a pillar of support for her family and friends, always willing to lend an ear or offer a helping hand. Judy's genuine kindness was unwavering and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her remarkable personality traits, Judy had a variety of hobbies and interests that brought her immense joy. She found solace in gardening and fishing, relishing the peaceful moments spent outdoors. Planting flowers allowed her to create beauty and cultivate tranquility in her surroundings. Judy also took delight in canning pickles, cherishing the process of preserving food for loved ones. Above all else, she cherished the time spent with her family and friends and had a special fondness for animals, particularly her beloved chickens.
One of Judy's proudest accomplishments in life was being both a devoted mother and grandmother. Her unwavering love and dedication to her children and grandchildren were evident in every aspect of her life. The memories they shared will be cherished forever as testaments to the incredible bond they shared.
Judy's passing leaves behind not only cherished memories but also a void that cannot be filled. Although overcome with grief at this moment, it is important to remember the vibrant life she led and the impact she made upon each person she encountered.
Judy was preceded in death by her mother and father Hazel McEwen and Stephen H. Vincent, her brothers William "Bill" Vincent and Edward Vincent, her grandson Jacob "Jake" Eye, and her mother and father-in-law Clarence and Kathleen Blanford.
She is survived by her loving husband, Gary Blanford, who stood by her side through thick and thin. Their unwavering love was a testament to the connection they shared. Judy is also survived by her daughter Suzette Blanford and Melinda of Carterville, IL, her son Gary Blanford and Jacklyn of Cuba, MO, and her sister Becky Ballard of Potosi, MO; grandchildren: Philip (Beth) Blanford and Kelsey (Alan) Edgar. She also leaves behind eight great-grandchildren: Oliviya, Mason, Breanna, Colton, Grant, Hazel, Warren, and Lyrix. Her love for each grandchild and great-grandchild was immeasurable. Beyond immediate family members, Judy is survived by numerous relatives and friends who were grateful recipients of her unwavering kindness throughout the years.
In this time of sorrow and reflection on Judy's life well-lived, let us remember the joy she brought into our lives. She will forever be remembered as a selfless soul who enriched the world with her kindness and compassion. Her legacy will endure through the memories shared with loved ones as we find comfort in the thought that she is finally at peace.
