Janet Sue Kimbrough of Belgrade, Missouri was born on Sunday, October 28, 1962 in St. Louis City, Missouri a daughter of the late, Patsy (Benton) Bates and Donald Bates. Janet departed this life on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at her residence having reached the age of fifty-years, eleven months and twenty-six days.
Janet was united in marriage to Jarvis Kimbrough on October 28, 1978 in Belgrade, Missouri and this union was blessed with two sons.
Janet is survived by her husband, Jarvis Kimbrough of Belgrade, Missouri; two sons, James Kimbrough and fiancée, Chante of Farmington, Missouri; Donald Kimbrough and wife, Bridgett of Farmington, Missouri; one sister, Donna Pruett and husband, David of Bismarck, Missouri; four brothers, Richard Bates and wife, Elizabeth of Farmington, Missouri; Terry Bates of Caledonia, Missouri; James Bates of Belgrade, Missouri; Mike Bates and wife, Melissa of Caledonia, Missouri; seven grandchildren: Christian, Alex, Karmen, Kamden, Brailey, Kaden and Alexandrea; also surviving are other relatives and many friends.
Janet enjoyed doing crafts of all kinds, working in her garden and taking care of her goldfish pond. She loved spending time with family and friends and cooking for everyone. Janet also enjoyed spending time outdoors adoring the many gifts of Mother Nature. Janet will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends.
Visitation was held Monday, October 28, 2013 from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Homes, Potosi, Missouri.
A Funeral Service was held Monday, October 28, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri.
Final Prayers and Burial took place in the Caledonia Methodist Cemetery, Caledonia, Missouri. Serving as pallbearers were: Don Kimbrough, James Kimbrough, Kyle Horton, Ron Fisher, Jr., Jacob Kimbrough, Jason Kimbrough, Jr., Tom Gullett and Mike Bates.
