Georgia Kunzie of Potosi, Missouri was born on Tuesday, August 19, 1930 in Cantwell, Missouri a daughter of the late, Pruda (Martin) Skaggs and Pink Skaggs. Georgia departed this life on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at the Crystal Oaks Nursing Center, Crystal City, Missouri having reached the age of eighty-two years, ten months and one day.
Georgia is survived by one son, George Patterson, Jr. of St. Louis, Missouri; one sister, Betty Richeson of Potosi, Missouri; four grandchildren, Misty Hollingsworth and husband, Tom, Jeff Walker and wife, Tara, Heather Ramshur and husband, Brad, Khealy Curtis and husband Wesley; eight great-grandchildren, Drake, Chris and Georgia Hollingsworth, Macy and Maggie Walker, Noah and Lillian Ramshur, Slade Bradley; son-in-law, Hardy Eppinette of Bastrop, Louisiana; also surviving are other relatives and many friends. In addition to her parents, Georgia was preceded in death by two husbands, George “Ira” Patterson, Russ Kunzie and two daughters, LaDonna Eppinette and Janie Kunzie.
Georgia enjoyed attending church. She loved listening to country music and making all types of crafts. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Visitation was held Sunday, June 23, 2013 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Monday, June 24, 2013 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
Funeral Service was held Monday, June 24, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Pastor Dave Evans officiating.
Final Prayers and Burial took place in the New Masonic Cemetery, Potosi, Missouri. Serving as pallbearers were: Hardy Eppinette, Slade Bradley, Drake Hollingsworth and Tom Hollingsworth.
