Minnie Jane Laws
Minnie Laws of Potosi, Missouri was born on Thursday, January 21, 1937 in Hopewell, Missouri a daughter of the late, Cletus Onita (Starkey) Rousan and William Arles Rousan. Minnie departed this life on Monday, September 10, 2007 at the Georgian Gardens Nursing Home, Potosi, Missouri having reached the age of seventy years, seven months and twenty days.
Minnie was united in marriage to Delmar Lee Laws who lost his life in 1967 while serving his country in Vietnam.
Minnie is survived by two brothers, William “Buddy” Rousan and wife, Dana of Mineral Point, Missouri, George Rousan and wife, Carol of House Springs, Missouri. Minnie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sisters, Dorothy McClain, Arleene Bennett, Marcella Warner and two brothers, Paul Rousan and Joy Starkey.
Minnie enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed playing piano in her younger years.
Visitation was held Wednesday, September 12, 2007 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Thursday, September 13, 2007 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
A Funeral Service was held Thursday, September 13, 2007 at 11:00 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri with Reverend Jerry Compton officiating.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Missouri.
