Dale Eugene Leach
Dale Eugene Leach of Cadet, Missouri passed away at his home February 20, 2005 surrounded by the love and care of his dear and special family. Dale was fifty-eight years and four months at the time of his death. He is the son of Evelyn Lucille (Waddington) Leach and the late Evan Dale Leach.
Dale was united in marriage to Helen Courtaway on September 26, 1966 in Illinois. They were blessed to have two daughters.
Dale was a member of the St. Joachim Catholic Church, Old Mines, Missouri.
Dale is survived by his loving and devoted wife of Thirty-eight years wife Helen Leach of Cadet, Missouri; two daughters Gena Suiter and husband Nick of St. Louis, Missouri and Jennifer Gann and husband Roger of Richwoods, Missouri; his mother, Evelyn Leach of Phoenix, Arizona; one sister Jan Kreft and husband Ed of Festus, Missouri; Mother-in-law, Esther Courtaway of Cadet, Missouri; three grandchildren, Nickolas Suiter, Nicole Suiter and Tyler Gann, and a very dear friend Mary Huett of St. Louis, Missouri and by many other relatives and friends. In addition to his father he was also proceeded in death by one brother Dave Leach.
Dale enjoyed watching old western movies especially “Cool Hand Luke” and other Clint Eastwood films. He loved to spend time playing cards and video games. Dale always made time to get out in the great outdoors and go fishing or just relax in the beauty of mother nature. Dale was a dedicated man to his work and his family. He took great pride and enjoyed the many hours spent with his family. His grandchildren always brought a smile to his face and warmed his heart.
Dale enjoyed reading the Bible and shared a very special scripture with his family and friends, “Serve one another in Love...” Galatians 5:13.
Visitation was held Tuesday, February 22, 2005 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Wednesday, February 23, 2005 from 8:30 AM to 9:40 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated Wednesday, February 23, 2005 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joachim Catholic Church, Old Mines, Missouri with Father Ted Pieper. Music was provided by the St. Joachim Catholic Church Choir.
Final Prayers and Burial was in the St. Joachim Catholic Church Cemetery, Old Mines, Missouri. Serving as Pallbearers were Nick Suiter and son Nickolas, Roger Gann and son Tyler, Dave Gevermuehle, Bill VanDeven, Rick Valle and David Valle.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
