Johnny T. Like of Cadet, Missouri was born on Monday, January 31, 1983 in Saint Louis, Missouri. Johnny departed this life on Friday, August 18, 2006 at the St. John’s Mercy Medical Center, Saint Louis, Missouri having reached the age of twenty-three years, six years and eighteen days.
Johnny is survived by his mother, Pamela (Lemons) Robinson of Cadet, Missouri; father, Johnny Like of Saint Louis, Missouri; two daughters, Jayleen Like of Potosi, Missouri, Janiah Like of Potosi, Missouri; three sisters, Shawnte Robinson of Memphis, Tennessee, Niesha Ussery of Potosi, Missouri, Latisha Like of Saint Louis, Missouri; one brother, Thomas Lemons and wife Maliesha of Columbus, Georgia; dear and special friend and love of his life, Erica Johnson of Potosi, Missouri; mother of Janiah, Molly White of Potosi, Missouri; also surviving are other relatives and many friends.
Johnny graduated from Potosi High School in 2001 where he enjoyed playing football and running track. In college, Johnny continued to participate in football and track. He loved joking with people and making them laugh. Johnny’s warm and caring smile made it very easy for anyone to get along with him. Most of all Johnny loved his daughters and spending time with them. Johnny loved his life and lived it to its fullest, leaving behind a loving family and many friends who will miss his wit and charm. He was a joy to know and there will be a definite void in all whom enjoyed the pleasure of his friendship.
Visitation was held Tuesday, August 22, 2006 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Homes, Potosi, Missouri.
A Funeral Service was held Tuesday, August 22, 2006 at 1:00 PM at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Pastor Alvin O’Neal officiating.
Burial took place in the Sunset Hill Cemetery, Potosi, Missouri.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
