Lisa Ann (Scott) Gillam

Lisa Ann (Scott) Gillam, a beloved member of the Potosi community, passed away on July 19, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of love and hard work. She was born on March 19, 1957, in Ironton, and her kind heart and caring nature touched the lives of many.

Lisa's career was diverse and filled with passion. She was the proud owner and operator of Lisa's Floral Boutique, and a member of the Potosi Elks Lodge #2218. She dedicated 31 years of her life to Belgrade State Bank, where she made a lasting impact within the organization and built valuable connections with coworkers and clients. Additionally, Lisa pursued a successful career as a Real Estate Agent from 2003 to 2020. Her dedication to excellence was admired by all who had the pleasure of working with her. Furthermore, Lisa also invested her time in cleaning homes and businesses; her attention to detail and meticulousness were unmatched.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Lisa treasured being a mother and grandmother as her proudest achievements. Her love knew no bounds when it came to her children and grandchildren. She poured her heart into nurturing them with affection and guidance.

Lisa will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was known for her loving personality and extraordinary kindness. Always putting others before herself, she epitomized compassion in every aspect of her life. Regardless of how busy she was or what personal challenges she faced, she would always make time to lend an ear or offer a helping hand.

Lisa is survived by her life partner, Gary "Buck" DeGonia, who brought immense joy and companionship into her life. Her children, Jill Sansegraw and husband David, Collin Gillam and wife Elizabeth, will continue to cherish the love and wisdom she passed down to them. Lisa's sisters, Julia Scott and Michelle Helms along with her husband Jimmy, were not only family but also her closest friends and stepbrother Blake Wishon and his wife Dawn.

The light of Lisa's life was undoubtedly her grandchildren: Rilee Bone, Addie Sansegraw, Crosby Gillam, and Cora Gillam. Each one was a source of immense joy for Lisa. Seeing them grow and thrive filled her heart with happiness. In addition to immediate family members, Lisa is survived by her aunt, JoAnn Thebeau; uncle, Don Izett and his wife Ginny. She leaves behind many other relatives and friends who were fortunate enough to experience her warmth and caring nature.

Preceding Lisa in death were her grandparents, Shirley Barton, Henry "Pete" and Alice Scott; mother, Donna Scott; father, Larry Scott; brother, Kevin Scott; as well as aunt and uncles, Mary Frances Izett, Jerry Barton, and Edward Thebeau. Their memory will forever remain in our hearts alongside that of Lisa's.

Lisa's departure from this world has left an irreplaceable void in our lives. However, we find solace in knowing that she has left behind countless cherished memories that will bring smiles to our faces for years to come. We remember her vibrant spirit, her unwavering kindness, and her unyielding love. May she rest in eternal peace.
