Christopher Allan Malugen
Christopher Malugen of Fenton and Potosi, Missouri was born on February 2, 1970 and departed this life suddenly in a vehicle accident on Friday June 6, 2008 having reached the age of thirty-eight years, four months and four days.
Chris is survived by his mother, Patti Malugen of Fenton, Missouri; father, Warren Malugen and wife, Barbara of Potosi, Missouri; one step-sister, Tracy D. Wisdom and husband, David of High Ridge, Missouri and her children, Waylon, Brett, Alex and Michalla Caldwell; also surviving are many aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Chris was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, G.W. and Gertrude Malugen and maternal grandparents, Ernest and Vielor (Atnip) Gray.
Chris is a graduate of Eureka High School, Eureka, Missouri and a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University where he was a member of the Sigma Tau Fraternity. He was also member of the Kirkwood Masonic Lodge. Chris enjoyed working on his car and on computers. He was a volunteer with the St. Louis County Police Department. Chris was a generous, loving person who would help anyone in need. He will be lovingly remembered by his family and many friends.
A Memorial Service was held Friday, June 13, 2008 at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Potosi, Missouri with Pastor Walter Lemmermann and Pastor James Malugen officiating. A luncheon was provided by the First Baptist Church, Potosi, Missouri for family and friends following the service.
