Jane Claire Manetzke

Jane Manetzke of Potosi, Missouri was born on February 29, 1924 in St. Louis, Missouri a daughter of the late, Helen (Jackson) Maupin and Stanley P. Maupin. Jane departed this life on September 4, 2008 at the Georgian Gardens Nursing Home, Potosi, Missouri having reached the age of eighty-four years, six months and six days.

Jane was united in marriage to Joseph Manetzke on November 27, 1943 in Overland, Missouri.

Jane is survived by her loving husband, Joseph Manetzke of Potosi, Missouri; two daughters, Jana L. Sevier and husband, Mike of Florissant, Missouri, Dean A. Vaught and husband, Darryl of Aurora, Missouri; two grandchildren, Christopher Sevier of Florissant, Missouri and Tommy Sevier of Florissant, Missouri; three step-grandchildren, Katie McMullen of St. Charles, Missouri, Leah McGlothlin of Aurora, Missouri and Lesia Evans of Aurora, Missouri.

Jane enjoyed collecting antiques, reading anything and everything, making beautiful quilts and afghans and all animals. She also enjoyed helping anyone in need and volunteering at the senior center. Jane loved her family and the time they spent together. She will be very deeply missed by the lives she has touched.

Visitation was held Sunday, September 7, 2008 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and Monday, September 8, 2008 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.

A Funeral Service was held Monday, September 8, 2008 at 11:00 AM with Chaplain Raymond Doussard officiating.

Honoring Jane by serving as pallbearers were: Mike Sevier, Darryl Vaught, Christopher Sevier, Tommy Sevier, Roy Evans and LeRoy Sevier.

Final Prayers and Burial took place in the Sunset Memorial Cemetery, Pacific, Missouri.

Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
