Mark Eaton

   Mark Steven Eaton was born on November 11th, 1955, in St. Louis, Missouri. He passed away on January 7th, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, hard work, and compassion. He was a devoted husband and loving father, proud of his family and always striving to provide for them. Mark's unwavering dedication to his loved ones was a testament to his caring personality, and he was known for doing anything for anyone in need. On November 4th, 1977, Mark was united in marriage to the late Tamara (Wallis) Eaton. 

   Mark’s greatest pride stemmed from his role as a father to his son, Scott Eaton, to whom he imparted wisdom, strength, and love. He also cherished his relationships with his siblings, Lucy Hamby, Donnie Eaton, Eric Eaton, and Connie Eaton, who will miss his warmth and humor dearly.

   Mark is proceeded in death by his loving wife, Tamara (Wallis) Eaton, who shared his journey through life, as well as his parents, Irene (Turnbull) Eaton and Jesse Eaton, who nurtured him into the man he became. Mark was also preceded in death by his sister, Marie Eaton and Brother, Matt Eaton.

   Mark was a longtime employee of the City of Potosi, serving in many job duties and later worked for the Parks Department.

   Mark's hobbies included spending treasured moments with friends and family, whom will carry his memory deep in their hearts forever.
