Robert Lester Marler of Mineral Point, Missouri was born Friday, January 7, 1949 in Tiff, Missouri a son of the late Margaret Aurelia (Ross) Marler and George Albert Marler. Robert departed this life Thursday, November 18, 2004 at the Missouri Baptist Medical Center, St. Louis, Missouri at the age of Fifty-five Years, Ten Months and Eleven Days.
Robert is survived by one sister, Mary Leftridge and husband Marvin of Cadet, Missouri; three brothers, Clarence Marler and wife Geraldine of Irondale, Missouri, Paul Marler and wife Carol A. of Bismarck, Missouri, George Marler and wife Carol D. of Park Hills, Missouri. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by one sister, Margaret Alice Callahan and one infant brother, Joseph Sylvester Marler.
Robert had a great love for life and always enjoyed the day and the many visits of his family and friends. He always had a smile to share and loved to talk the day along.
Visitation for Robert was held Saturday, November 20, 2004 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
Funeral Services were held Saturday, November 20, 2004 at the Moore Memorial Chapel with Rev. Craig Bodenschatz officiating. Musical selections played for the service were God Will Take Care of You and In The Garden.
Burial and Final Prayers were at the Woodlawn Cemetery, Leadington, Missouri on Saturday, November 20, 2004 at 11:00 AM.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
