James Thomas “Tom” Martin, III
Tom Martin, III of Potosi, Missouri was born on Sunday, June 13, 1965 in Potosi, Missouri and departed this life on Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at the Washington County Memorial Hospital, Potosi, Missouri having reached the age of forty-two years, four months and four days.
Tom is survived by his father, James Martin of Cedar Hill, Missouri; mother, Rose Magee of Cadet, Missouri; one daughter, Krystal Hotchkiss and husband, Andrew of Irondale, Missouri; one son, Jacob Dean Martin of Potosi, Missouri; one brother, Charles “Tony” Martin of Cadet, Missouri; two grandchildren, Paris Renee Pratt of Irondale, Missouri and Daniel Pratt of Irondale, Missouri; grandmother, Dorothy Missey of Cadet, Missouri; aunts and uncles, Julia and Michael Lawson of Cadet, Missouri, Peggy Bourbon of Cadet, Missouri, Shirley and Shelby Courtway of Cadet, Missouri; also surviving are two nieces, one nephew and cousins. Tom was preceded in death by his grandfather, Herman Missey.
Visitation was held Saturday, October 20, 2007 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
A Funeral service was held at Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi at 1:00 PM Saturday, October 20, 2007 with Pastor D.J. Edwards officiating. Serving as pallbearers were: Tony Martin, Mike Lawson, Mike Lawson II, Shelby Courtway, Danny Coleman, Jeremiah Richardson, Jacob Martin and Devin Boyer.
Final Prayers and Burial took place in the House Of Prayer Cemetery, Tiff, Missouri.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
