Margaret “Beth” Martin of Potosi, Missouri was born on Tuesday, March 25, 1980 in Potosi, Missouri and departed this life on Saturday, October 31, 2009 at the St. John’s Mercy Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri having reached the age of twenty-nine years, seven months and six days.
Margaret “Beth” was united in marriage to David Martin on December 21, 1999 and were blessed with one son, Michael.
Margaret “Beth” is survived by her husband, David Martin of Potosi, Missouri; son, Michael Martin of Potosi, Missouri; mother and father, Vicky L. (Ramey) and Michael L. Eckhoff of Potosi, Missouri; sister, Jessica Crocker and husband, Jimmy of Potosi, Missouri; grandmother, Ellen Eckhoff of Bonne Terre, Missouri; nieces and nephews, Sarah, Jacob, Joseph and Ruth; also surviving are aunts, uncles, cousins and many other relatives and friends. Margaret “Beth” was preceded in death by grandfather, Joseph Eckhoff, grandmother, Georgia Smith and aunt, Diane Eckhoff.
Margaret “Beth” loved her family and spending time with everyone especially her nieces and nephews. One of her greatest joys was being blessed to have her son, Michael who she had hoped and prayed for and cherished everyday they spent together. Margaret “Beth” loved Christmas, baking cookies and going camping. She and her cousins were inseparable, spending a lot of time together in their younger years.
Visitation was held Wednesday, November 4, 2009 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
A Funeral Service was held Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at 1:00 PM at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Pastor Connie Carrigan officiating. Honoring Margaret “Beth” by serving as pallbearers were: Joshua Pratt, Paul Lee, Jeff “Boot” Butler, Dennis Eckhoff, Gary Longgrear, Jimmy Crocker, Scott Eckhoff, Robbie Smith, Kevin Eckhoff and Freddie Kiger.
Final Prayers and Burial took place in the Barlow Cemetery, Cadet, Missouri.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
