Mary Deanna Luther- Goff

   Mary Deanna Goff-Luther of Cadet was born October 10, 1940 in Cadet, a daughter to the late Andrew Politte and Genevieve (Whitter) Politte. Mary departed this life July 13, 2024 having reached the age of 83 years. 

   Those left to carry on her memory include her loving husband of 11 years, Robert “Bob” Luther; daughters, Donna Cates, Brenda Williams and husband Cary; bonus daughters, Marylin Dawson and husband Rob, Phyllis Wills and husband Gary, Paula Thurmond and Denny Goodson; bonus sons, Jeff Luther and Angie Nauman, Donnie Luther; sisters, Judy Politte, Terry Lomax and husband Sam, Bobbie Osia and husband Glen; brother, Carl Politte and wife Shelly; sisters and brothers- in-law, Barbara Politte, Rose Politte, Pat Politte, Linda Politte, Karen Kincaid, Irma Robertson, Walter “Paul” Luther and wife Faye, Danny Luther; grandchildren, Shannon (Tim) Wintjen, Brooke (Levi) Smith, Heather (Nick) Giganti, Hannah (Pierce) Krieger; great grandchildren, Destiny, Andreas, Chelsea, Makenna, Atreyu, Mavrick, Lilith, Keagan, Lillianna, Lincoln, Dominic; great great grandson, Ian; 12 bonus grandchildren, 21 bonus great grandchildren; 1 bonus great great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear and special friends.

   In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her first husband, Darrell “Bee” Goff; bonus sons, Billy Luther, David Luther; brothers, Victor, Wayne, Kenny, Ronnie “Brazz”, Darrell, Larry, and Curtis Politte; brothers-in-law, Ronnie Politte and Doug Luther. 

   Mary had a presence that brought comfort to those around her. She could light up a room with her smile. She loved flowers and meticulously maintained her garden, adorning the grounds with many statues that held great meaning to her. She always ended her day with a Hostess cupcake and cherished the many simple pleasures of life. Her family was her rock and spending time with them was priceless to her. Her memory will be greatly treasured by those who loved her.
