James “Jimmy” Dewayne McNail, Sr.

“Jimmy” McNail, Sr. of Blackwell, Missouri was born on January 10, 1950 in St. Louis, Missouri a son of the late Geraldine (Tripp) Braddy and Robert McNail. “Jimmy” departed this life suddenly on Monday, June 11, 2007 having reached the age of fifty-seven years, five months and one day.

“Jimmy” was united in marriage to Karen Ashlock in Centerville, Missouri on August 2, 1986.

“Jimmy” is survived by his loving wife Karen McNail of Blackwell, Missouri; five daughters, Tina Reimler and husband Donald of Imperial, Missouri, Pam McNail of Springfield, Missouri, Kim McNail and fiancé, David Troy Chisholm of Blackwell, Missouri, Ann Bracher of Springfield, Missouri, Amanda Brunk and fiancé, Leroy of Hillsboro, Missouri; two sons, James McNail, Jr. of Bonne Terre, Missouri, Travis Carson and wife Julianna of Germany; two sisters, Jean Woodson and husband Ronald of St. Louis, Missouri, Connie Golden of Bonne Terre, Missouri; one brother, Ron McNail of Bonne Terre, Missouri; five grandchildren, Matthew, Jessica, Ashley, Levi and Megan. “Jimmy” was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Donald and Geary McNail.

“Jimmy” loved spending time at the lake, going camping, four wheeling and hunting. He enjoyed spending time with his family barbequing and dancing. “Jimmy” also enjoyed visiting with his friends and family and always making them laugh.

A Memorial Visitation was held Monday, June 18, 2007 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.

A Memorial Service was held Monday, June 18, 2007 at 7:00 PM at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Reverend Jerry Compton officiating.

Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
