Mildred Sue Church

       Mildred Sue Church of Potosi, Missouri was born December 24, 1942 in Anna, Illinois, a daughter to the late Dora (Thompson) Pewitt and Lonnie Pewitt. Mildred departed this life Tuesday, March 5, 2024 having reached the age of 81 years. 

       Mildred was united in marriage to Joe Church on December 6, 1964. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Joe of Potosi, and sister, Elizabeth Jacobsen of Grafton, Illinois. 

       Mildred had a creative spirit and her hands created the ideas that were close to her heart. She could sew and knit anything she put her mind to and every craft was sewn with love.  She also loved ceramics and had a passion for music, playing many instruments, including the organ and accordion. Though Mildred has went her heavenly home, let us never forget the love she had for her friends and family and the impact on those around her.
