Lillian lived a long and happy life. In the early years times were hard. She worked hard as a child and into her adult years and never complained. As a child one of her greatest joys was school. She always encouraged all of her grandchildren to go to school, enjoy it and graduate, because it was a luxury she didn’t have. She proudly graduated the 8th grade which was quite an accomplishment in that day seeing how she walked three miles each way to get there.
Her faith always got her through in good times and bad. She had a great love for God and family. She always had the comforting voice and open arms that made everyone run to her for love and support. Whether it was a scraped knee, bicycle wreck, broken heart or whatever seemed to be the problem of the day her love and advice seemed to make us know everything would be alright.
In her later years one of her biggest joys was the time she spent at church and with her friends at the Rural Parish Workers. She will be Sadly Missed by all who knew her and the love and advice will live on forever in all our hearts.
