William Adolph Miller of Mineral Point, Missouri was born on Sunday, February 9, 1941 in St. Clair, Missouri a son of the late, Grace (Stahlman) Miller and Joseph H. Miller. William departed this life on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 having reached the age of seventy-years, ten months and nineteen days.
William was united in marriage to Roberta Ann Head on December 19, 1964 in St. Clair, Missouri.
William is survived by two daughters, Billie Jo Hill and husband, Roy of Imperial, Missouri, Kimberly Sue Miller and fiancé, Kenneth Wilkerson of Florissant, Missouri; two sons, David Raymond Miller and wife, Rosemary of Mineral Point, Missouri, Jeffery Lee Miller of Bunker Hill, Illinois; three sisters, Jane, Dot and Laura; one brother, Joe Miller of Greenville, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Niokia, Jason, Josh, Marquita, Zach, Brandie and Masson; five great-grandchildren, Timothy, Cameron, Caitlyn, Jessica and Nathan; also surviving are other relatives and many friends. In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his loving wife, Roberta Ann Miller, two brothers, Dan Miller and Bob Miller.
William loved working on his farm caring for animals and driving his truck. He enjoyed working hard for anything he had or needed. William was very generous and was always helping others in need. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
A Traditional Native American ceremony was dedicated in William’s honor and memory by Elder Jim Horton Monday, January 2, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Sunset Hill Cemetery, Potosi, Missouri.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
