Minnie Wren, of Belgrade, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2023, at the age of 85. She was born on September 2, 1938, in Morark, Arkansas, a daughter to the late Nova (Gilmore) McKnight and Frank McKnight. She shared many years with her loving and devoted husband, Truman and always kept his memory close to her heart.
Minnie was a loving, kind, and caring individual who always put others before herself. She had a warm and compassionate personality that touched the lives of all who knew her. Her smile could brighten any room and she frequently went to auctions where she was always warmly greeted. During the many trails and temptations of life Minnie held tight to the love for her lord and savior, Jesus. Her selflessness and dedication to her loved ones will always be remembered.
Spending time with her family and friends brought Minnie immense joy. She cherished every moment shared with them, creating beautiful memories that will live on forever. Minnie had a special bond with her son Carl Wren and his wife Bernice of Belgrade, MO. She was also survived by her beloved sister Lula Wilkinson of Arnold, MO, and Brother Tony McKnight of Imperial, MO.
In addition to her immediate family members, Minnie is also mourned by her grandchild Cieara Wren and great-grandchild Madison Wren. Her love for them knew no bounds, and she cherished their presence in her life.
Minnie's selflessness left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered. Her legacy of love and compassion will continue to inspire many for generations to come. As we say goodbye to Minnie Wren today, let us remember the kindness and care she exemplified throughout her life.
