Beulah Rosie Mosier
Beulah Rosie Mosier of Potosi, Missouri was born on Monday, December 29, 1924 in Valles Mines, Missouri a daughter of the late, Amanda (Cain) Toppings and Charley Toppings. Beulah departed this life on Sunday, April 13, 2008 at the Potosi Manor Nursing Home, Potosi, Missouri having reached the age of eighty-three years, three months and fifteen days.
Beulah was united in marriage to Chester Wesley Mosier in October of 1947 in Bonne Terre, Missouri and this union was blessed with two sons.
Beulah is survived by one son, Terry Mosier and wife, Ruby of Mineral Point, Missouri; three grandchildren, Terry Jr., Christopher and Michael; one great granddaughter, Catherine Rose; two sisters-in-law, Ruth Thompson of Potosi, Missouri, Juanita Forshee of Leadwood, Missouri; one brother-in-law, Lessel Mosier and wife, Carol of Potosi, Missouri. In addition to her parents, Beulah was preceded in death by her loving husband, Chester Mosier on November 25, 2007, one son, Verlin Mosier, one sister, Bernice Charboneau, one half sister, Eva Delores Harris, one brother, Lawrence Toppings and three half brothers, Charles Toppings, Roy Toppings and James Toppings.
Beulah enjoyed living and working on the farm and especially taking care of the calves. She loved cooking and spending time with her family and friends. Beulah was a very kind generous woman who will be very deeply missed by everyone she knew.
Visitation was held Tuesday, April 15, 2008 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Wednesday, April 16, 2008 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
A Funeral Service was held Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Reverend Jim Kelley officiating. A special tribute was offered by Terry’s Chrysler Corp. Chaplain, James Teasley. Serving as pallbearers were: Christopher Mosier, Michael Mosier, Larry Mosier, Clyde Vandergriff and Roger Vandergriff.
Final Prayers and Burial took place in the Germania Cemetery, Bonne Terre, Missouri.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
