Dennis “Denny” Lee Nickles of Mineral Point, MO was born March 8, 1962 in St. Louis, MO, a son of Thomas Edward Nickles and the late Virginia Mary Ann Wickerham Nickles. Denny departed this life on November 16, 2018 at his residence having reached the age of fifty six years, eight months and eight days.
Denny was united in marriage on February 25, 1983 to Rochelle Gamble. In addition to his wife, Denny is survived by his father, Thomas Edward Nickles of Potosi, MO, five daughters; Ruby Moss and husband Jessie of Mineral Point, MO, Destiny Buhler and husband Scott of Mineral Point, MO, Cassandra Bess and husband Jeremy of Park Hills, MO, Cierra Nickles of Potosi, MO, Katelyn Nickles of Farmington, MO, one son; Jordy Nickles and Sonnett Tim of Bonne Terre, MO, two sisters; Kathy Bourbon of Irondale, MO, Debbie Courtois of Potosi, MO, four brothers; Michael Ray Nickles of Potosi, MO, James Nickles and wife Tabatha of Cadet, MO, Glenn Nickles of Mineral Point, MO, Tommy “Pot” Nickles of Irondale, MO, eleven grandchildren, Carlee, BrittLee, David, Davin, Dereck, Mackenzie, Ethan, Gavin, Adora, Lexi and Malachi, special adopted children; Jamie Kanan and fiancé Brandon of Mineral Point, MO, Anna Weeks of St. Louis, MO, April Wideman and husband Billy of Shirley, MO, ten adopted special grandchildren, Arionna, Jaden, JT, Aliza, Josiah, Mahallie, Lydiah, Jazmine Aubree and Blake, mother-in-law, Sandra Cartee of Shirley, MO, sister-in-law, Lawana Gamble of Mineral Point, MO, brothers-in-law, David Gamble and wife Wanda of Silex, MO, Ross Gamble and wife Melody of Shirley, MO.
Denny was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Mary Ann Wickerham Nickels, one daughter, Brittany Lee Nickles, one son, Dennis Ross Nickles, one brother, Charles LeRoy Nickles, father-in-law, Bud Gamble, father-in-law, Jim Cartee, two special adopted granddaughters, Amiah and Addison.
Denny enjoyed being outdoors, whether it be fishing or hunting. His greatest joy in life was his family. Denny loved visiting with his family members where he could pick on all of his kids. His grandbabies held a special place in his heart. Denny will forever be missed and loved by his family and friends.
