Thomas Edward Nickles

Thomas Edward Nickles of Potosi was born December 29, 1939 in Cadet, Missouri, and a son to the late Bufford “Bud” Nickles and Alma May (Burnia) Nickles. Thomas departed this life Tuesday, September 14, 2021 having reached the age of 81 years, 8 months and 16 days.
Thomas is survived by his daughters, Kathy Bourbon of Irondale, Debbie Courtois of Potosi; daughter-in-law, Rochelle Nickles of Mineral Point; sons, Mike Nickles of Cadet, Glenn Nickles of Mineral Point, Tommy “Pot” Nickles of Mineral Point, James Nickles and wife Tabitha of Cadet; brother, Bufford Nickles; 20 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear and special friends.
In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his sons, Denny Nickles, Chalres Nickles; brother, Carl Roy Nickles; sisters, Gussie Geraldine Mackley, infant Betty Louise Nickles; grandchildren, Dennis Ross Nickles, Brittany Lee Nickles and Dewayne “Little” Wayne” bourbon
Thomas was a hard worker and always took time to help others. He always saw the best in people. He loved working around his home and visiting with his friends and family. He loved his family with his whole heart and loved to spoil his grandchildren. His memory will be cherished by all who loved him.
