Glorene Carol Norrington
Glorene Carol Norrington of Potosi, Missouri was born in Salem, Missouri on Wednesday, April 29, 1947, a daughter of Esther L. Pyatt and the late Billie L. Pyatt, Glorene departed this life on Saturday, March 18, 2006 at Forest Park Hospital in Saint Louis, Missouri, having reached the age of fifty-eight years, ten months, and eighteen days.
Glorene was united in marriage to Noel Norrington on September 23, 1989 in St. Clair, Missouri.
Glorene is survived by her husband, Noel Norrington of Potosi, Missouri, mother, Esther L. (Short) Pyatt of St. Ann, Missouri, three daughters, Kimberly Ann Walker of California, Laura Rutledge and husband Aaron of Union, Missouri, Sarah Wakefield of Robertsville, Missouri, two sons, Jeffrey Wakefield of Robertsville, Missouri, and Ronnie Wakefield of Robertsville, Missouri, six sisters, Daphyne Christie, Carol Averett, Linda Thaller, Peggy Erler, Brenda Erler, and Lisa Blanquiz, two brothers, Michael Pyatt, and Richard Erler, nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Glorene was preceded in death by her father, Billie L. Pyatt and two grandchildren.
Glorene was a very kind and generous person who loved spending her time in nursing centers helping people. She also enjoyed spending time in the outdoors camping and sitting around bon fires with her family and friends. Glorene also loved to go to the golf course with her husband. She loved spending time together with Noel. Glorene will be missed very deeply by all of her friends, family, and everyone she knew.
Visitation was held Monday, March 20, 2006 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Tuesday, March 21, 2006 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
A Funeral Service was held Tuesday, March 21, 2006 at 1:00 PM at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Brother Joe Trokey officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Darrel Crossen, Denny Brand, Danny Rolens, Randy Riddle, Mike Pyatt, and Dennis Averett.
Burial took place in the Sunset Hill Cemetery, Potosi, Missouri.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
