Noel Norrington of Potosi, Missouri was born on Saturday, August 30, 1941 in Perryville, Missouri a son of the late, Flora (Wichern) Norrington-Etzold and John Paul Norrington. Noel departed this life on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at the St. Luke’s Hospital, Chesterfield, Missouri having reached the age of seventy-one years, eight months and twenty-two days.
Noel was united in marriage to Glorene Pyatt on September 23, 1989 in St. Clair, Missouri.
Noel is survived by two daughters, Laura A. Norrington of Sullivan, Missouri, Christine Dean and husband, Steve of Sullivan, Missouri; one sister, Vivian Cobble of Jefferson City, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Nikki, Jacob, Billy Bob, Aschlea, Michael, Jenna and Breanna; two great-grandchildren; also surviving are other relatives and many close friends throughout Potosi and the surrounding areas. In addition to his parents, Noel was preceded in death by his loving wife, Glorene Norrington and one brother, Delbert Norrington.
Noel enjoyed barbequing with family and friends, and watching all types of sports especially Cardinal baseball. Some of his favorite pastimes were golfing, bowling and fishing. In his younger years Noel also enjoyed singing with his band and anytime there was karaoke. He will be greatly missed by all.
Visitation was held Saturday, May 25, 2013 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
A Funeral Service was held Saturday, May 25, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Louis Seiberlich officiating.
Final Prayers and Burial took place in the Sunset Hill Cemetery, Potosi, Missouri.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
