Virginia O’Donnell

Virginia Theresa Winters O’Donnell was Fortified with the Sacraments of the Holy Mother Church on Monday, June 3, 2011 at the Lake Regional Health System, Osage Beach, Missouri at the age of Eighty-three years and eight months. Virginia was born on Monday, October 3, 1927 a daughter of the late Rose (Naeger) Mueller and John B. Mueller.
Virginia was united in marriage to Thomas O’Donnell in Potosi on May 4, 1996.
Virginia has blessed so many lives and added so many memories to all who knew her. Virginia is survived by her husband, Thomas O’Donnell of Osage Beach; daughter, Pamela Cordia of St. Louis; sons, Kevin Winters and dear friend Janet of Camdenton, Jeff Winters and wife Kayla of Eldon; stepson, Paul O’Donnell and wife, Julie of Manitou Springs, Colorado; stepdaughter, Kay Brunk of St. Ann, Missouri; sisters, Rosemary “Rosie Lober and husband Dick of Fenton, Dorothy Wade and husband Edsel of Farmington; brothers, Joseph Mueller and wife Winona of Oklahoma, Francis “Frank” Mueller and wife Karen of Fenton; twelve grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and by many dear and special friends in the Potosi area. Virginia was preceded in death by parents, daughter, Judith Lynch and grandson Shawn Lynch.
Prior to moving to the Lake area, Virginia loved her home in Potosi. Her many friends and the home area were very dear and special to her. She continued to stay in contact with many here in the area. She had a great love for her family and her eyes would twinkle and a bright smile would come to her face when the grandchildren came around.
Her love, understanding and continued practice of her faith always carried her and her family thru their daily lives. She was a long time member of the St. James Catholic Parish and at the St. Anthony’s Parish in Camdenton.
Visitation was held Monday, June 6, 2011 from 9:00 AM to 12:45 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
A Funeral Mass was held Monday, June 6, 2011 at 1:00 PM at the St. James Catholic Church, Potosi, Missouri with Reverend Joe Welschmeyer officiating.
Final Prayers and Burial took place in the New Calvary Cemetery, Farmington, Missouri. Serving as pallbearers were: Alex Winters, Kevin Winters, Jeff Winters, Paul O’Donnell, Nick Paternoster and Jesse Cheshire.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
