Oscar "Bob" Pashia, a hardworking and devoted family man, passed away on April 17, 2024. He was born in Potosi, Missouri on June 4, 1930. Bob proudly served in the United States Army and carried his dedication into every aspect of his life.
Those who knew Bob will remember him for his love for his family and his passion for singing Hank Williams songs, working on the farm, maintaining his John Deere tractor and spending quality time with loved ones. His lively personality shone through as he engaged in hobbies such as going to the sale barn, square dancing, listening to music, and cherishing moments with family. He was a charter member of Washington County Knights of Columbus. He was also a long time member of St. Joachim’s Catholic Church.
One of Bob's proudest accomplishments was being a great provider for his family, caring for his farm diligently, and being a loving father and grandfather. His marriage to Dorothy for over 70 years stood as a testament to his commitment and love.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Rolla Pashia and Mary Pearl (DeClue) Pashia; grandson, Justin Pashia; son-in-law, Jerry West; sister, Anna Marie and husband Tom Roy; brothers, Jack and wife Mary Pashia, Joe and wife Vella Pashia, Howard and wife Wanda Pashia, and Ralph Pashia; brothers-in-law, Darrell Brewer, Arthur Boyer, Lawrence Dicus and Wayne (Jean) Dicus.
He is survived by his beloved wife Dorothy Pashia. Additionally, Bob leaves behind a legacy through his three daughters: Donna Robart and husband John, Linda Haguewood and husband Doug, Brenda West; three sons: Ronnie Pashia and wife Ellen, Billy Pashia and wife Beth, Bobby Pashia and wife Lisa; three sisters: Arlene Boyer, Helen Brewer, Cecelia Harrison and husband Rich; two brothers: Donald Pashia, Bernard Pashia and wife Linda; sister-in-laws Mert Pashia and Bonnie Dicus.
His memory will also be cherished by his grandchildren Amanda McClure, Shane Pashia, Andy Pashia, Danielle Huebel, Chris West, Jessica Robart, Chad Pashia, John Brandon Haguewood, Lindsey Jarvis, Tim Pashia, Robyn Gravatt, Jarah Lemons, Audree Pashia, Faith Pashia, Arlee Pashia, Bea Pashia, Andrea Crocker, Justin Crocker, J.J. Blount, and Joey Blount. Furthermore, he is survived by 45 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends who were touched by his kindness and warmth.
