JoAnn Pashia (Ward)

JoAnn (Ward) Pashia of Cadet, Missouri was born January 3, 1942 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri a daughter to the late Raymond Ward and Julia May (Carthers) Ward. JoAnn departed this life Friday, March 6, 2020 having reached the age of 78 years, 2 months and 3 days.
JoAnn is survived by her fiancé, William “Bill” Pierce of Cadet, Missouri; four daughter: Patricia Kolbow and husband Robert of O’Fallon, Missouri, Kimberly Ann Parron and husband Brent of Bellefontaine Neighbors, Missouri, Mary Jo Pashia of Hillsboro, Missouri, Brenda Droege of House Springs, Missouri; four sons: Bobby Poe of Cadet, Missouri, Joseph L. Pashia and wife Maggie of Esbon, Kansas, Philip Pashia and wife Angie of Cadet, Missouri, Stephen Pashia and wife Cherry of Bellevue, Nebraska; one sister, Janice Walls and husband George of Florissant, Missouri; 18 grandchildren, 20 plus great grandchildren, dear friend Jennifer Pashia of Old Mines, Missouri and many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, JoAnn was preceded in death by four brothers: Milfred Ward, Charles Ward, Merl Ward, Gene Ward; two sisters, Joyce Cole and Helen White.
JoAnn was a kind and caring person, always greeting people with a smile. She worked many years in a factory as a laborer. She loved to travel, go boating, camping and the beauty of nature. She enjoyed bowling, darts and shooting pool. Above all, she loved her family with all her heart and the lasting memories she gave will be treasured forever. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Judes Children's Hospital.
