Mary Catherine always had others in her prayers for their benefit and her love to them. She at times seemed to be the first person called by someone in need of a prayer. She was a dedicated member to the St. Ann’s Sodality Society of St. Joachim Parish. Prior to her husband’s death they had the opportunity to travel around the area and neighboring states enjoying the many sites the area had to offer. She loved to travel to Potosi to shop at Wal-Mart, sometimes several times a day, and Edwin could be found sitting patiently in the foyer. When Mary Catherine finally had an opportunity to relax at the end of her day she enjoyed working word search puzzles.
Mary Catherine was a remarkable lady not only for her longevity but for the intensity and clarity of focus with which she lived her life. She will always be remembered for the love she shared and the many prayers she offered for all.
