Paul Dale Politte
Dale Politte of Farmington, Missouri formerly of Old Mines, Missouri was born on January 28, 1959 in Potosi, Missouri and departed this life on January 27, 2009 having reached the age of forty-nine years, eleven months and thirty days.
Dale is survived by three daughters, Jennifer Kennedy and husband, Aaron of Farmington, Missouri, Amanda Bingaman and husband, Ricky of Wakeeney, Kansas, Megan Politte and special friend, Kyle Sidebottom of Farmington, Missouri; mother, Rita (Thebeau) Politte of Old Mines, Missouri; one sister, Marti Morgan and husband, David of Potosi, Missouri; two brothers, Randy Politte and wife, Diane of Old Mines, Missouri, Brian Politte and wife, Stacey of Old Mines, Missouri; three grandchildren, Christopher, Zoe and Surina; the mother of his children, Sheila Politte of Farmington, Missouri; also surviving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many dear and special friends. Dale was preceded in death by his father, Victor Politte.
Dale enjoyed time in the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He always enjoyed visiting with his family and friends and reminiscing about days gone by. He was a member of the Farmington AmVets. He was a twenty-nine year plus employee of The Glass Factory in Desloge, Missouri where he was a member of Local 8734 United Steelworkers where he had held many positions. Dale was a 1977 graduate of Potosi High School. Dale was a caring person with open ears to anyone at anytime; he loved life to the fullest and enjoyed sharing with all his friends. He always had a warm smile, firm handshake and a “how are you” for everyone he met.
Visitation was held Friday, January 30, 2009 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Saturday, January 31, 2009 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, January 31, 2009 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joachim Catholic Church, Old Mines, Missouri with Father Ted Pieper officiating. Honoring Dale by serving as pallbearers were: Aaron Kennedy, Kyle Sidebottom, Ricky Bingaman, Alex Morgan, David Morgan, Brian Politte, Randy Politte and Joe Politte.
Final Prayers and Burial took place in the St. Joachim Catholic Cemetery, Old Mines, Missouri.
Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
