Norma Fay Poole (Miller)

Norma Fay (Miller) Poole of Herculaneum, Missouri was born October 26, 1933 in Bliss, Missouri, a daughter to the late Martin James Miller and Edith (Bourbon) Miller.
Norma was united in marriage to Marvin Helms on August 7, 1953 and they had 23 happy years together. They were blessed with two children. Some years later, Norma met and married Paul Poole of Festus, and they were blessed with many years together.
Norma went to meet her Lord on October 6, 2020 at the age of 86. She was under the care of Festus Manor.
Norma is survived by her daughter, Patricia “Pat” Parsons and husband Steve of Herculaneum, Missouri; son, Robert “Bob” Helms and wife Stephenie of De Soto, Missouri; sisters, Rachel Politte of Old Mines, Missouri, Sharon Silvey of Potosi, Missouri, Treasa Portell of Potosi, Missouri, Georgia Veach and husband John of Old Mines, Missouri, Judy Hoeft and husband Bobby of Bonne Terre, Missouri; brother, Jerry Miller and wife Debbie of Old Mines, Missouri; grandchildren, Breaanna, Rebecca, Elizabeth, Steven, Michael Ray McKenzie, Alayna McKenzie, Dustin Aubuchon; three great grandchildren, Evelyn, Harrison, Elli; special friends, the Ray McKenzie Family of Festus, Missouri and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents and husbands, Marvin and Paul, Norma was preceded in death by her sisters, Della Mae Miller, Irene Miller, Mary Jeanette Miller; brothers, Donald Bourbon, Everette Miller, David Miller, Danny Miller and special friend, Ray McKenzie.
Norma was a faithful member of the Immanuel Baptist Church in De Soto and ran the prayer chain. Her faith was unwavering and the light of Christ shined bright in her everyday work. She loved the outdoors and took many fishing trips with family and friends. Her sense of adventure, love and example of faith will be cherished by all the lives she touched.
